The Lakers one kills me.
#1 for an easy schedule and healthy team. Whatev.
Nuggets- Melo is 5th, Nuggets as a whole, not so much. Although I'm not going to put them under us until we've played them and prove we can beat them. Cause they are my measuring stick right now.
Can't argue with the Hawks. But Suns and Magic, they have the same record as us, but Pheonix got blown out by Orlando, and Orlando got killed by Cleveland. We haven't had a blow out. Just putting that thought out there...
(Im gunna play Devils Advocate.) The power rankings are based on more than the record. I know Mavs are under ranked but I can understand why LA is number 1. They have championship experience and they do look like a completely different team with Gasol in the lineup. Sometimes I think we forget when he played in Memphis he was considered just a few notches below Dirk on playing ability. His role now on the Lakers isnt superstar but he still makes the team much better.
but yeah, I totally get these rankings. You cant always beat them out quite perfectly, and to be honest some of our wins have been less than impressive. I've noticed that winning in overtime is really sweet but the power rankings usually reflect that yeah, you needed overtime to beat the bucks on the road and the spurs at home. If we still have our win streak going against cleveland we will get our time to shine. We just need to win there.
