should mavs pursue trade for paul or anthony?

no link or real story, but i have been hearing mixed stories and rumors about the hornets and nuggets wanting to trade chris paul and carmelo anthony for financial reasons,, which would b b great news for the mavs..which one would work for the mavs and what should we give up for them if they become available? I say chris paul would make more sense and we can just give damp + kidd and beabouis to get him, while melo would require damp+butler and beabouis(numbers have to be checked)..

anyways what do you guys think?

Well there are pros and cons to what you are saying. CP3 would be a huge boost in making us contenders in the west (which is good because Dirk deserves a ring.) At the same time though Roddy B. is the future. I'd hate to see him go. Now Melo for Butler and dust chip now thats an idea =) that would make sense for a team trying to find a financial solution .

if we could get either it would help dirk out huge, but doubt cuban will get it done..we probably lookin at the same team as last year...bummer for dirk.
