- I was out with a couple friends in Wichita Falls, TX going to college. We were out on the Saturday night of Easter 2005. It was a really rainy night. The driver was really really drunk. He had a BAC of .23. He lost control of his truck. It spun, and hit a tree at the passenger door. That is where I was sitting. I broke my femur, right arm, punctured lung, ruptured bladder, and a traumatic brain injury among several other things. I now have 18 pieces of metal in my body. It took 22 units of blood to stabilize me.
