Omelette Man

The Mavericks took on the Laker's last night in Los Angeles (if you are reading this blog I am sure you know the outcome).

Directly after the game the Mavs jetted off to Sacramento for a 7:00 pm tip-off tonight against the Sacremento Kings. As we know, this is called a Back-to-Back

When the second night of the back-to-back is in an away city, a majority of the time, the team does not participate in the usual morning shoot around at the visiting arena.

Instead, they have a team meeting at the hotel that revolves around an outstanding breakfast buffett including an omelette bar. Besides the omelette bar, the standard menu items include a variety of dry cereal, oatmeal, grits, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and an assortment of breads/pastries. Of course, the breakfast also includes all the requisite breakfast drinks - coffee, juices, and milk.

While the team eats their breakfast the coaches go through the nights game plan on dry erase boards. More-or-less what they would run through at the arena minus the hardcourt and the actual running.
